One of a person’s greatest attributes and most cherished traits is honor. An honor system is based on the premise that a person upholds the highest standard in all they do. Honor and
integrity are related to our school’s key characteristics. Without honor, students cannot achieve their maximum potential.
Hopewell STEM Academy Code of Honor
Both students and parents are required to sign the Code of Honor at the beginning of each school year.
All Hopewell STEM Academy students MUST wear their appropriate uniform, including when in after-school programs. Students will not be admitted to class without the correct uniform.
We have received some questions regarding sneakers. Sneakers are allowed during days allocated for games. Sneakers must be black or white.

Responsibility Centered Discipline, the philosophy of Hopewell STEM behavior management
Discipline Protocol: Discipline should be a responsibility based, progressive, learning process; It should carry with it the goal of intervening in and prevention of continuous episodes of
disruptive and/or hurtful behaviors that interfere with a safe, comfortable, and welcoming learning environment.
The mission of Hopewell STEM Academy is to develop intellectually curious and capable young people who are selfless contributors to both local and global communities, and who aspire to be ethical and compassionate leaders. Through a rigorous and innovative academic program in math, science, and technology, in combination with the liberal arts, Hopewell STEM Academy affords its diverse student population those experiences, skills, and values that will prepare them for purposeful contributions in higher education and STEM- related fields.
